Dr. Alfred Mechano
Voiced by John Archer Age: 35 Birthday: June 20 Species: Human Likes: Robots, Himself, Treasure Dislikes: Pesky heroes, Losing, Cold weather Strengths: Genius intellect, Weapons proficiency, Master of disguise Weaknesses: Overconfidence, Greed, Shortsightedness A notorious evil genius, Dr. Mechano uses an assortment of robots and gadgets to steal money and priceless treasures from all over the world. Mechano descends from a long line of villains; From bandits to pirates to mobsters to phantom thieves and more, crime is a family tradition. So the Doc hopes to make his deplorable ancestors proud of him! While Mechano is a villain, he genuinely cares for his crew. His robots all get their fair share of the haul after a successful heist, and are treated like people - a sentiment that many other people in this world don't hold toward robots. Despite his brilliance, Mechano often lets his ego and greed get the better of him, causing him to underestimate threats and run headlong into danger. He may be highly educated - holding a doctorate in the field of robotics - but in some ways, Mechano is a man who truly never learns. |

Mania
Voiced by Donna Xia Age: Over 1,000 years old Birthday: April 1 Species: Chaos Spirit Likes: Chaos, Magic, Darkness Dislikes: Rules, Boredom, Confined spaces Strengths: Powerful offensive magic, Flight, Can hide herself in darkness Weaknesses: Weak against light magic, Immaturity Created by a mysterious sorceress in the distant past, Mania is a spirit made of pure chaos magic. As a creature of chaos, Mania enjoys using her magical powers to have fun - mainly by causing unpredictable effects on the world around her. She caused so much trouble in the past that she was magically imprisoned, and had most of her magic drained out of her and sealed away in mystical crystals called the Gems of Mayhem. Mania spent a millennium trapped in an enchanted barrier, until one day, the supervillain Dr. Mechano set her free. Mania promised Mechano unparalleled wealth and power in exchange for helping her find the Gems of Mayhem and restoring her stolen magic, and the greedy doctor jumped at the chance! But can Mania be trusted...? |
Robutler
Voiced by Chase Johnson Age: 25 Creation Date: September 2 Species: Robot Likes: Cleanliness, Order, Reading Dislikes: Messiness, Disorder, Surprises Strengths: Mature, Studious, Hard-working Weaknesses: Passive, Not built for combat, Easily flustered Robutler is the very first autonomous robot Mechano ever made, created when the doctor was only a boy. As such, he's been by Mechano's side for almost his entirely life, serving as his faithful assistant and confidant. In many ways, Robutler is the perfect yin to Mechano's yang. Where Mechano is reckless, combative, and arrogant - Robutler is calm, thoughtful, and humble. At times, he serves as a voice of reason, reining in Mechano when he gets carried away. Though he is loyal to a fault, Robutler is not Mechano's yes-man. He will frequently raise objections if he thinks the Doctor has a bad idea, and is the first to poke holes in his (often not fully thought-out) evil schemes. In his off time, Robutler is an avid reader - both of literature and nonfiction alike, and enjoys learning about the world. Perhaps his wealth of knowledge will prove useful. |
The Minioids
Voiced by Anairis QuiƱones Age: (Varies) Creation Date: (Varies) Species: Robot Likes: Having fun, Stealing, Fighting Dislikes: Chores, Failure, Vegetables Strengths: Strength in numbers, Can fit into small spaces, Determined Weaknesses: Individually weak, Childish, Easily distracted The Minioids are Mechano's footsoldiers, a group of mostly-identical robot underlings who assist the Doctor in his evil schemes. Though they are evil henchbots, the Minioids have rather childish personalities, treating their criminal escapades more like a game than a job. Fighting heroes is seen by them as playing, and they never fear getting hurt on the battlefield; Since they're robots, if a hero busts them up, Mechano can simply put them back together. In a way, Mechano has come to view the Minioids as his children. And like any good dad, he wants to teach them everything his parents taught him! (Un?)fortunately, Mechano comes from a family of criminals, so he's mainly taught them how to break the law. In the books, there are three specific Minioids who accompany Mechano: Bit, Byte, and Nibble. Bit loves to steal, Byte loves to fight, and Nibble... well, mainly loves to goof off. All three are pretty immature, but can be counted on in a pinch when Mechano needs them. |
Motey
Voiced by Lanna Rose Age: 10 Birthday: January 29 Species: Robot Likes: Vehicles, Weapons, Gadgets Dislikes: Other people messing with her tools Strengths: Expert mechanic, Proficient pilot, Fast Weaknesses: Weak in combat, Short, Cannot move if flipped onto back Motey was created to be Dr. Mechano's assistant mechanic. She helps the Doctor in the workshop whenever he builds new weapons, vehicles, or robots - and has gained considerable expertise over the years. Of course, Motey doesn't merely assist Mechano with his inventions. She's also taken the initiative to build several of her own creations in her spare time. She's every bit the whiz with machines that the Doctor is, and her inventions can give his a run for their money. Despite her cute and positive demeanor, Motey can get pretty impatient if you bother her while she's working. Once she's in the zone, you'd better give her some space. |
Heroes
Captain Cool (Civilian name: Unknown)
Voiced by Jay Parker Age: 39 Birthday: December 21 Species: Human Likes: Catching villains, Justice, Ice fishing Dislikes: Villains escaping, Being tricked, Hot weather Strengths: Ice powers, Physical strength, He never gives up! Weaknesses: Easily angered, Gullible, Weak against fire Every villain needs a good hero, and Captain Cool dutifully fills the role as Dr. Mechano's archenemy. After the dastardly Doctor embarrassed the governments of the world by stealing too many priceless treasures to count, Captain Cool was placed on the Mechano case full-time. His top priority is to capture Mechano and place him under arrest, but so far, the mustached malefactor has always eluded him. However, don't mistake Captain Cool's repeated failures to capture Mechano as incompetence. The ice-slinging hero is in fact very capable of bringing down bad guys, and had an impeccable record of catching criminals before being assigned to chase Mechano across the globe. Mechano's just that slippery, but he can't get away forever! One day... one day justice will prevail and Captain Cool will stand victorious! ...Right? |
Shep Sanders
Voiced by Invader Noodles Age: 19 Birthday: March 20 Species: Sheep Likes: Napping, Snacking, Singing Dislikes: Waking up early, Hard work, Coffee Strengths: Hypnotic voice can make enemies fall asleep, High defense Weaknesses: Lazy, Easily fatigued A young and somewhat inexperienced hero, Shep has the power to lull enemies to sleep by singing. Despite his ability to make foes sleepy, Shep often finds himself nodding off as well. The lamb lad spends most of his free time napping, only rolling out of bed when the hero alarm alerts him of a crime in progress. With such a useful power, he could probably make a big name for himself as a hero - if he applied himself more. |
